Having your machine serviced

Have you ever noticed how machinery tends to break down when you're at your busiest. The pressure keeps building then just when you think things can't get any worse suddenly there's silence. Your machine has just packed up.

Sod's law? Actually, when you think about it it's not really all that surprising. After all, a machine is far more likely to fail when it's being pushed to the limit than when it's cruising along or sitting idle. Add to that the conditions in which most engraving machines spend their lives (dust, swarf etc.) and you could almost say it's bound to happen sooner or later.

A yearly service can go a long way towards making sure that your machine doesn't break down. Potential problems can be identified and rectified before they become serious. And perhaps more importantly, a regular service can not only greatly prolong the life of your machine, it can also ensure that it continues to produce good quality work.
